Am I wrong For Asking My Girlfriend To De-friend Her Ex-Sex Buddy On Facebook.?

To make a long story short, when my girlfriend was young she use to have sex-buddies and no relationships really. She had this one guy she meet regualry for about a year. Anyways, the past is the past so I thought she was now a mature girl. Anyways, I found out a couple weeks ago she was still talking to this guy she use to have sex with. I confronted her and I told her I am not uncomforable with the face she is in contact with someone she only stayed with for pleasure only. She understood and told me she wouldn't talk to him anymore. Anyways, so one day I ask her if she is friends with him on facebook. She says yes and she shows me. HOWEVER, she says she does not talk to him on facebook. I tell her to defriend him and I get all mad when she tells me she doesn't want to because she doesn't want to be mean. Am I wrong here? Is Facebook just Facebook?

You are not wrong. Dump her and move on. You do not need to put up with that crap. It is not your job to just deal with it. It is not about insecurity. It is about the fact that obviously something is not right. This triple jay character probably just doesn't pay attention or could care less what his girlfriend does. Probably because he flirts with all of the girls on his facebook page. Obviously if a playa flirts with a lot of girls he could care less what his girlfriend does with her facebook page. Either that or he has been tricked into thinking that it is his job to "deal with it" or "settle". "Insecure".. That is funny. That is what people tell their partner when they really have something up their sleeve. "Oh, stop being so insecure," while little invisible devil horns are on their head.

Seriously, if having that guy on her page is more important than respecting your feelings then why are you with her? Right there obviously shows her priorities.

Maybe she is like a lot of people and just does not like to be told what to do, so she does it to show that she can do whatever she wants. Well, that is childish. Do you really want to date a child?
